As part of the changes
CEU mandates, the Ohio
Respiratory Care Board
requires that all RTs in
have CEUs that focuses
on ethics. As a
result, they have one
free CEU available to
you on ethics. To take
the course,
visit their website:www.respiratorycare.ohio.gov
At the top of the page,
select the following
links:
1. Access respiratory
care license information2. Continuing
education information3. Jurisprudence
class
At the bottom of the
page is a link to the
following website:
www.quia.com
You need to create an
account for
yourself as a student
before you can take the
course. After you
register, it will ask
you to input the course
code which is:
BBRC433.

The Ohio Respiratory
Care Board has new rules
for Continuing
Education.
Beginning July 1, 2008,
each RT will need 20
CEUs...15 of which need
to be focused on a
respiratory related
topic.
