Education.
Beginning July 1, 2008,
each RT will need 20
CEUs...15 of which need
to be focused on a
respiratory related
topic.

year, states from all over
the country compete for an
award that recognizes
their hard efforts in
several categories: |

fairs, health screening)
Media (newspaper, tv, or
radio interviews),
educational efforts, AARC
membership recruitment,
and other efforts. |

Legislative Update |

Reimbursement for RT
Services!!
After much debate and
a veto by the President,
the House of
Representatives
overturned the veto and
passed HB 3968.
Approval of
this bill would allow
for reimbursement of RT
services in the home
care arena by RTs with a
Bachelor's Degree.
This is fantastic
progress for RTs across
the country. This
battle was won by having
our voices heard at the
National level.
